This project will be the first commercial solar farm in Yolo County, California.

Solvida provides project development services to the land owner including permitting, interconnection, EPC selection, and financial due diligence.

We are currently in the process of securing a 25-year PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) for the project owner, Putah Creek Solar Farms.

As the project developer, Solvida has provided the following services:

  • Performed site audit
  • Generated initial engineering drawings for the project
  • Provided financial modeling and forecasting to evaluate the investment’s legitimacy
  • Compared technology options to ensure maximizing investment value
  • Evaluated grid connect possibilities – proximity to substation, size of substation, substation capacity, available infrastructure close to site, and other energy generating projects in the vicinity
  • Managed the interconnection process with the utility
  • Secured an interconnection agreement with the utility
  • Developed relationships with local building department to secure required permits
  • Researched zoning designation
  • Generated all Conditional Use Permit documentation
  • Generated CEQA compliant environmental documents
  • Secured Conditional Use Permit from Yolo County

To date, we have saved our client 50% in development costs associated with this project.
