Mission and History

Stephen Smith founded Solvida Energy Consulting in early 2009 to share the knowledge he gained over 15 years building and designing solar power plants and products. His initial clients included product startups and EPCs new to the solar industry.

In mid-2010, Stephen changed the company name to Solvida Energy Group to reflect the company’s new service and product offerings – engineering, financial modeling, and training.

Solvida’s mission is to help firms in the solar industry develop innovative and practical execution strategies for solar power plant deployment.
